Selling my gorgeous Rime Arodaky Caplan top and Pennington skirt worn for my June 2018 wedding. The Caplan Pennington combination is the perfect alliance of sophistication and sensual. Its delicate lace scallops and incredible cuts outline the curves with undeniable elegance for a modern and sassy bride.
This is such a flattering dress, which feels young, modern and very elegant to wear! I had so many compliments with and none of my guests had seen anything similar on brides before.
Rime Arodaky's embroidered tulle and crepe Caplan top is crafted in France and cropped to define the narrowest part of your waist. I wore the top with a backless bra, size 34B. Minor alterations were made to the top: small darts added to the neck to convert the boat neck to a slightly more curved (and flattering) shape. No alterations to size were made.
Rime Arodaky's floor-sweeping white maxi skirt is designed with the modern bride in mind. Cut to sit at the slimmest part of your waist, this crepe 'Pennington' style is complete with a stunning lace train and waistband. The skirt has a small button and loop bustle, in addition to a wristlet sewn into the underskirt. There are minor marks to the bottom of the skirt that are barely noticeable. I’m 5’5” and wore 3” heels, so these can be easily cut out if you are shorter than me.
The dress has been professionally dry-cleaned and in excellent condition. I'll also include my fingertip tulle veil for the lucky bride to be!
