The dress is a size 8 but had significant alterations so is more like a size 6. I am 5' 10" so had extra length ordered and it was hemmed. There are some stains on the very bottom from the dance floor but someone shorter could get it hemmed and the stains would be removed. The mesh part along the neckline/breastline did rip at the end of the night but could easily be repaired with another piece of mesh material.
