Chantel Lauren Mae custom dress purchased in January 2018 and worn in August 2018. The top section of the dress is champagne colored silk with white lace over top. The skirt has 3 layers: the top layer is blush colored tulle, the second layer is organza which has been hand painted with rose gold and pink blush strokes and the third layer is champagne colored silk. The skirt also has a train. I am not a 100% sure of the label or street size, as the dress was made to my measurements.
The dress was only worn once but the train portion of the skirt (third layer, champagne colored silk) is dirty and has some stains on it from touching the floor. The stains may come out if dry cleaned or the train could be shortened to remove the stains (I found it was too long). The designer does not recommend cleaning the second layer of the dress because it's hand painted (see note from designer below).
Message from Chantel Lauren regarding cleaning of dress: Because Mae is a work of art we do suggest not to use any harsh chemicals on the painted organza, as it can damage the paint. We've taken are floor sample to the dry cleaners and the paint has come back faded (it still looks pretty but the color has faded). I suggest dry cleaning at your own risk or spot cleaning if you are able.
